The Methodology Center is a transdisciplinary environment. This trait promotes the highest levels of creativity and productivity and is a great strength of the Center. Respect for each other’s contributions is the foundation of our transdisciplinary work.
Maintaining communication across academic disciplines that have widely differing terminology, perspectives, approaches, and traditions can be challenging. The following Professional Conduct Guidelines were created to facilitate communication within the Center about matters of professional conduct, broadly defined, in order to avoid misunderstandings and mismatched expectations.
Our Guidelines, listed below, are available to the public. Others who wish to develop similar guidelines are welcome to use these as a starting point:
