Dr. Caldwell developed (with Edward Smith and her South African colleagues) the curriculum for HealthWise, a comprehensive risk-reduction, life-skills curriculum for adolescents in South Africa. She has recently collaborated with Donna Coffman on analyses of data from an evaluation of Healthwise, and with Linda Collins on an experiment to examine factors affecting implementation fidelity.
