Dr. Smyth is an expert in ecological momentary assessment (EMA) data and academic director of the Dynamic Real-time Ecological Ambulatory Methodologies [DREAM] Initiative at the Survery Research Center at Penn State. DREAM data collection techniques includes a range of methods to assess ongoing behavior, experiences, physiology, and environmental factors in people’s natural settings. Dr. Smyth collaborates with Center researchers on analyzing intensive longitudinal data.
